The European Week of Regions and Cities is an annual four-day event during which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance.
The event has grown to become a unique communication and networking platform, bringing together regions and cities from all over Europe, including politicians, administrators, experts and academics. Over the last 18 years, it has done much to promote policy learning and the exchange of good practice.
Under the slogan “Together for recovery”, the 19th edition of #EURegionsWeek will be centred on four topics:
Green Transition: for a sustainable and green recovery
Cohesion: from emergency to resilience
Digital Transition: for people
Citizens' engagement: for an inclusive, participative and fair recovery
