UNaLab Workshop: How to Successfully Adopt Urban Living Labs

  • Tue, 12/12/2023

The UNaLab project is as part of The Nature of Cities Festival organising an interactive workshop on the successful adoption of Urban Living Labs, taking place on 23 February at 16:15 CET.

Urban Living Labs (ULLs) have been recognised as a suitable approach for co-creating nature-based solutions (NBS) in urban settings. However, cities face several barriers when adopting ULLs for the co-creation and implementation of NBS. In this workshop, we want to explore and identify possible factors, methods and strategies, so called enablers, that help address those barriers and enable the successful adoption of ULLs for co-creating NBS.

Our aim is to explore solutions and methods which can help cities to adopt ULLs together with the workshop participants. Further, we want to verify some pre-identified enablers, and discuss and assess the impact these can have in cities. The results will contribute to the UNaLab project’s research activities.

Are you an urban stakeholder enthusiastic about co-creation, nature-based solutions or Urban Living Labs?
