Finnish Municipalities Contributing to Super Year of Nature

  • Sun, 29/09/2024

Come and learn from the experiences of Finnish municipalities in contributing to biodiversity protection!

Living in the middle of a climate and biodiversity crisis, humanity faces incredible challenges for the long-term livability of our planet. The super year for nature and biodiversity 2020 highlights the devastating crash in our natural systems, leading into increasing risks of pandemics and human suffering.

What do Finland and Finnish municipalities offer for the super year for nature?  We will contribute to  the EU Green Week 2020 by sharing some encouraging nature and biodiversity cases from Finland.  The Association of Finnish Municipalities and the European Green Capital 2021 Lahti have handpicked the most inspiring nature and biodiversity protection cases from Finland for you to take part of.

The UNaLab project is one of the cases that will be presented during the webinar.

This online event will take place on 22 October between 14:00-16:00 CET.
