The 1st ENABLE Stakeholder Dialogue “Environmentally and socially just and resilient cities – What can blue and green infrastructure offer?” will provide an opportunity to share experiences on embedding green and blue infrastructure in urban planning and development. The attendance for the dialogue is free of charge.
In this Stakeholder Dialogue, discussions will focus particularly on how cities can become more just from an environmental as well as societal perspective by creating and improving urban green and blue spaces. Project researchers and cities will present research findings as well as local government experiences on planning and designing urban green and blue spaces so that everyone living in the city has access to the many benefits these spaces provide. The cities of Stockholm (Sweden), Barcelona (Spain) and Łódź (Poland), who are also case study cities in the ENABLE project, have been invited to present their insights.
In the spirit of a dialogue, the event also provides the unique opportunity for other cities to share their stories on municipal plans and activities on the topic. Cities interested to speak for 10-15 minutes each, are invited to fill in the application form for one of the two available speaking slots by the 19th September 2018. We will get back to the speakers selected by the ENABLE consortium by the 26th September 2018.
