Join Our Workshop and Solve Real-life Climate Challenges!

Are you interested in exploring and developing potential solutions to the climate challenges that European cities are facing today, such as pollution, heat stress and flooding? If that is the case, the UNaLab project is organising a workshop on nature-based solutions that might be something for you!

The interactive workshop ‘Co-creating Smart Nature-based Liveable Spaces – Necessary Solutions for Real-life Challenges’, will take place on 26th September as part of the Nordic Edge Expo & Conference 2018 in Stavanger, Norway.

This workshop will bring together relevant stakeholders from municipalities, academia and businesses to address real-life climate issues, which today's European smart cities are facing. The participants will together explore pre-selected urban challenges and co-create potential solutions to these challenges, through a gamified co-creation tool.

This will not only allow you to create potential solutions to existing urban problems, but also to interact with stakeholders from different fields and to share best practices and learn from each other.

If you would like to have a more active role in the workshop, you can submit your own climate related challenge and participate as a challenge owner. This is a great opportunity for you to bring forward one of the urban problems that your city is tackling. If your challenge is chosen for the workshop, you will get the chance to present it in Stavanger and you will receive concrete potential solutions to the challenge that your city is tackling from the other participants, who will be working on solving it.
